A NEST REMADE

After her daughters left the family nest, the owner wanted to rethink her residence and the way she was living in her retirement. The kitchen was relocated to the rear of the home and blended with an open dining room addition that looks out to luscious views. The spacious dining room allowed for large gatherings. The former dining room adjacent to old kitchen was turned into a guest bedroom with its own entry and bathroom; it could be used as the occasional rental unit. The primary master bedroom received a full upgrade with soak tub and stand shower. The renovation improved where she was spending her golden years.
